Misisi Compound is a run down shanty town of squalor and poverty. It is home to nearly 10,000 people in the heart of Lusaka, Zambia. The U Foundation supports ten families who live in this shanty town. With the help of The U Foundation they provide a home for at least 50 HIV/AIDS orphans. Every month we provide food for each family which includes maize flour - their staple diet and nutrition in the form of meat and vegetables.

The Tailoring project |
The ladies that support the orphans have been given long term independence by setting up a tailoring project funded by The U Foundation and equipped with donated sewing machines and materials. |
