MISISI COMPOUND PROJECT

Misisi Compound is a run down shanty town of squalor and poverty. It is home to nearly 10,000 people in the heart of Lusaka, Zambia.  The U Foundation supports ten families who live in this shanty town. With the help of The U Foundation they provide a home for at least 50 HIV/AIDS orphans. Every month we provide food for each family which includes maize flour - their staple diet and nutrition in the form of meat and vegetables.

The current project at the Misisi Compound is The Tailoring Project

The Tailoring project

The ladies that support the orphans have been given long term independence by setting up a tailoring project funded by The U Foundation and equipped with donated sewing machines and materials.
