The Chiwawatala School |
Chiwawatala school in MFUWE has been provided with desks, chairs, books and sports equipment. We also support their nutrition project which includes a fish pond, duck house and a vegetable patch.
The U Foundation have also donated seeds, a diesel generator and water pump to help with their project.
The children enjoy the profits of their labour and any surplus produce is sold to the local lodges, this income is then put back in to the project

The nursery is made up of a half mud wall and wooden poles which hold up a thatched roof.
This is the nursery building for 40 children from 3 - 6 years of age, some of whom have to walk up to 15Km per day.
We would like to raise funds to build the children of MFUWE a permanent brick built nursery. |
